Eco Friendly
Fly ash bricks and blocks are eco-friendly in a number of ways.
- Requires less energy to manufacture which means lesser carbon footprint
- No emission of pollutants or green house gases during and after manufacturing
- Cost of process of making is 20% less than clay bricks
Fly ash is the bi-product or waste released by thermal (coal) power plants. If left in open environment fly ash will pollute the air, land and water resources. Fly ash bricks and blocks are a potential avenue to utilize the tons of fly ash lying at thermal power stations.
The Group’s concern for the protection of the environment has resulted in realizing a noble cause, to put the hazardous fly ash to productive use. To this effect, we have been working and continue to do so.
